Village Foundations works to make its projects as close to 100% sustainable as physically possible, with the hope that even if it were to cease, its legacy would live on and the people it serves would be able to continue lifting themselves out of poverty.
Unfortunately, no matter how close to achieving this VF gets, Charity work by its very nature will never be 100% self-sustaining. There will always be new projects to launch, more people to reach and help, more that can be done to help those already being helped, and more people to give a hand up to.
Due to this, there’s always a need for fundraising. Whether it’s a bake sale, Charity bike ride, sky dive, running a marathon, or anything else – any funds raised for VF will be put to good use.
VF prides itself on providing support for fundraising events. People are not expected to go out and raise money completely in isolation from the Charity and give the proceeds over at the end. It’s only fair that reciprocal support is given. This may come in the form of fundraising packs, branded and promotional clothing, fundraising ideas, help with entry to events and more.
