As a self-sustaining Charity, VF does not receive any grants from the government. This allows VF to keep doing the vital work that it does, free from any restrictions which may otherwise slow down the aid it provides to those in need. This means that VF’s work relies solely on fundraising efforts and from kind-hearted donations from people like yourself. To enable VF to make giving as easy as possible, there are a number of options available for your convenience.

VF can accept small volumes of cash given directly to its offices. Receipts are made available for these donations on request.

If you have a different way in which you would like to donate to the work that Village Foundations does, please get in touch and we will do what we can to make it happen.

Gift Aid

If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can authorise us to claim gift aid on your donation which will increase its value by 25%! For example, for every £10 you give, VF can claim an additional £2.50 from the government, allowing the Charity to do even more good work at no extra cost to yourself. In order for VF to do this, all we ask is that you fill out the gift aid mandate form and send it to enquiries@village-foundations.org.

Even better, you only need to do this once! As long as your circumstances do not change (please tell us if they do!), VF can continue to use this mandate for any future donations you may choose to give. You can get a copy of VF’s gift aid form below.
