Penrith Coast to Coast Bike Ride

Richard Williams, husband to Jill, one of our Trustees recently completed the grueling Coast to Coast Bike ride which was completed in June this year and covered 150 miles.

“We did it over 3 days with plenty of refreshment stops on the way! There was 20 of us all together and I don’t think Penrith knew what had hit them. We're looking to do the Coast and Castles next year (Edinburgh to Newcastle in a zig zag) so hopefully I'll try again”.

Through his efforts Richard raised £139 for Village Foundations and he was able to donate to other charities as well. Well Done Richard and thank you!
